IndiGo To Start Direct Flights From Durgapur To Three More Cities

Durgapur: Soon you will be able to travel from Durgapur to three more cities by air. IndiGo Airlines is all set to introduce direct flights from Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport to Bhubaneswar, Bagdogra, and Guwahati by the end of August. This will reduce travel time significantly.

Flights from Durgapur (RDP) to Bhubaneswar (BBI) and Bagdogra (IXB) are expected to start from August 30, 2024, and flights from Durgapur (RDP) to Guwahati (GUA) will start from August 31, 2024.

Currently, IndiGo operates direct flights from Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport to major cities like Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.

The introduction of these flights is expected to save residents of Durgapur, and the nearby towns such as Asansol, Chittaranjan, Bardhaman, Bankura, and Bolpur, a lot of time. They will no longer have to travel to Kolkata to catch a flight for these routes.
